I was sitting here feeling all smug that I'd eaten a smallish lunch with lots of carrot sticks and fruit and so forth, and wasn't feeling even the slightest urge to snack.

Then I remembered that, twenty minutes ago, I scarfed two slices of pizza left over from the Mgt review meeting.

*sigh*

Oh, it's gonna be plenty memorable in about an hour (Pizza Hut Meatlovers). The main problem is that I'm an idiot.

Those are both essentially hometown bands. Sarah H. had a garage rock band called Weeping Tile when we first moved to town, and they played just about every weekend for the first two years we lived here. Now she's moved out to the sticks in an old farmhouse with a studio, and has released a couple of far more mellow disks. That track was the first single off her first release. she had a new one out this past xmas which is pretty good, but not as good as the debut IMHO.

The Hip are one of the quintessential canadian rock bands, and they originated right here. All but the lead still live here as far as i know. Bass player actually lives on my block...I see him walking his kids to school every few days. Lead guitar lives a few blocks around the corner. Drummer lives someplace around here; I keep seeing him downtown.

Anyway..glad you like it!

Oh, well, if you eat lots of carrot sticks and fruit, it cancels out calories from pizza. That's the Grease Bomb Diet.

Maybe TMI, but...

If you replace "dried fruit" for "fruit" you'll be crapping it out before the calories take hold!

Sorry, couldn't resist.
