Decisions, decisions

Weather was supposed to clear overnight, giving me clean roads to get home.

It's still snowing like a bastard (a bastard with a very bad case of dandruff) outsite the hotel room window. Setting aside the possibility that this is just a micro-climate in the parking lot, I wonder what this means for my chances of getting home in one piece?

I'm loath to check out of the hotel, get snowed in, and find that I can't get a room anywhere else for love nor money. OTOH I don't really want to sit on my thumb here if I don't have to, and my work here will be done by lunchtime.

At least this time I remembered to pack an extra change of clothes.

What the heck? Minor livejournal irritation question.

In the last couple of days, when I reply to posts from within gmail, I get the following error:

Unknown journal. Please go back and try again.

Any idea what's up with that? Yes, I'm perma-logged in.
